Queensland’s tourism industry is made up of 13 regions, each with their own industry associations for development and promotion of tourism. A range of other industry and government organisations with a role in tourism (PDF, 252.0KB) also exist at local, regional, state and federal levels to support the industry.

DestinationQ is a partnership between the Queensland Government and tourism industry to invest, excel and grow Queensland's visitor economy.

The annual DestinationQ forums bring together government and industry leaders to debate and agree on the priorities for ensuring Queensland's tourism industry remains competitive. A range of other stakeholder forums are also often held in association with DestinationQ, such as masterclasses and workshops.
