Justin was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) to drive the future of Queensland’s investment and export. As part of TIQ’s portfolio, Justin is also responsible for Study Queensland and Migration Queensland.
Justin has held senior executive roles with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and is an accomplished diplomat. Justin led the Capability Taskforce, improving Australia’s Foreign and Trade capabilities and was Australia’s Commissioner General to the World Expo in Dubai from 2017 to 2021. Previously with the Department of Defence, he has delivered major global programs and served on numerous operational deployments in the Royal Australian Navy.
